As a photographer, I strive for authentic and spontaneous sessions, which is why I use natural light instead of a studio. You'll never hear me ask you to say cheese or sit still. I like to capture life as it happens, the way you will remember it. Photography encompasses everything I love about moments and should produce what can only be described as magical. It is a visual story of life, love, and every raw emotion that should shake you to the core. This is what I shoot for... My background:
Growing up, I studied fine arts under my grandparents, two of the most prolific artists in China. They instilled in me a deep appreciation for art and oil painting, which I carried with me as I ventured into law school. While immersed in legal studies, I found solace in photography during my cherished days off. My background in fine arts has been a significant influence on my approach to photography, infusing my images with a distinctive twist in terms of retouching, composition, and overall aesthetic.
Today, as a practicing lawyer, I continue to use photography to explore my creative side.
Additionally, I wear the hat of a mom to two wonderful babies. In this role, I've come to understand the relentless march of time, particularly when juggling the demands of work and motherhood. It's in this context that I've grasped the profound significance of preserving memories. I've felt the weight of time slipping through my fingers and in response, I've recognized the immeasurable value of freezing those ephemeral, heartfelt moments.
